India is experiencing a growing epidemic of diabetes, coronary heart disease (CHD), and bone and joint related health concerns. And the growing trend is that this epidemic is starting early in life-childhood. Current recommendations state that children and adolescence should get 60 minutes or more of physical activity daily. Children and adolescent should engage in aerobic, muscle strengthening ,bone strengthening activities daily to improve their health and reduce their risk of developing chronic diseases.
